you to get noticed more by the people who visit our site. We
will highlight one advertisers interview each week on the front
page of LocalPetPeople.com. Clients have commented that they
will contact people who've been interviewed before they contact
others. Clients have also suggested they will prefer interviews

Things
that will make you more attractive to your potential customers...
1.
Add as many recommendations from your current clients as possible.
Ask your clients to got to the recommendation
form. Our feedback suggests that people who are looking for
a dog sitters/walker will contact the people with the highest number
of recommendations first.
2.
Get a web site or web page! The more information you offer your
potential clients, the more interested they become. With nice pictures
of the pets you've cared for in the passed and a picture of yourself,
you will stand a much better chance. Having said that... make sure
your web site is of good quality or you might loose the customer
before they've even got to your services page. Web sites with 'under
construction' signs or half finished pages will not give a good
impression. Clashing or garish colours is also a bad idea. Why
don't you visit DogBasicsDesign.com to
see if they can help you with a web site.
3.
When the client comes to pick up their pet, some pet sitters will
have a letter written out with details of their stay and a picture,
almost like a little diary. Some pet sitters will give a CD with
pictures of the pet (long stays) or email a few pictures or short
video clips of their stay. If you and the client have picture mobile
phones, you can send them a daily or weekly picture of their pet.
